Industry Mentor of GTR Ventures

Jasmine Ng is currently a Member of the Advisory Board and an Industry Mentor of GTR Ventures’ Venture Building Program. GTR Ventures is the world’s first venture-building and investment platform specialised in trade and supply chain. And the Ventures Building Program is dedicated to global trade and SME Finance with a focus to build & co-create new innovative products for the sector.

Jasmine was the CEO of Razer Fintech, a subsidiary of Razer Inc. Before that, she was the CEO of NEM Malaysia, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NEM io Foundation; she also held a double role as the Business Development Director of South East Asia. During her tenure there, she successfully turned around NEM Malaysia & SEA from loss incurring to profit-generating for the NEM Foundation.

She previously held the position of Head of Group Digital, Strategic Digital Alliances and Project Management Office for Maybank Group. Jasmine oversaw the bank’s strategic digital alliances like AliPay and Samsung Pay, implementation of the bank’s digital projects and was instrumental in the successful launching of Maybank Pay, Samsung Pay and AliPay for the banking group.

Jasmine has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. Her senior-level assignments include the setting up of corporate & consumer financial services contact centres, credit card merchant businesses, overseeing the card business regionalisation programmes, creating alliances with synergies for organisations and providing consultancy from business transformation to service culture enhancements to the C-suites.

She is also serving as a committee member to the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) – KL Chapter. MCPF is a Non-Government Organisation established in 1993. It is a Chapter of the Asia Crime Prevention Foundation, based in Tokyo, Japan. It is an advisory role in Cyber Crime Prevention, especially from her perspective on crime prevention from a gender bias.

Jasmine is the co-founder and advisor to EPIC Homes, a non-profit organisation; they have been building homes for the underprivileged communities of Malaysia since 2010.
She loves to share her passion for economic empowerment through her roles as mentor, investor and active business consultant to various startups that operate in the agriculture tech, waste management and social enterprise businesses. Her belief is in investing in the youth of today by helping them to maximise their potential for the future.
